This is a short trip that
lets you explore ancient temples and shrines of
three medieval kingdoms namely Kathmandu,
Bhaktapur and Patan. On this trip you will have
exquisite visit to Pashupatinath temple, a Hindu
temple. As you approach cremation areas of the
temple, you will witness Hindu’s ritual of
cremating a corpse. Tour to Buddhist stupa at
Boudhnath and Swayambunath are other retreats
that will be serviced to you. You can have a 360
degree view of Kathmandu valley from
Swayambunath. Another attractive prospect of
this trip is cultural tour to major cultural
heritages and temples of Bhaktapur and Patan. |

Day 1 Arrive KATHMANDU
A representative and driver from our office will
meet and greet you at the airport and escort you
to your hotel and help you check into your
designated hotel. We will arrange a meeting with
you at hotel to brief you about your daily
activities etc.
Day 2 Full day sightseeing
tour
Early in the morning after breakfast, we shall
take you to major sightseeing places in
Kathmandu for six hours. On your tour you will
get to see historic monuments, temples,
monasteries, palaces and UNESCO World Heritage
Sites like Durbar Squares of Hanuman Dhoka,
Buddhist stupas of Swayambhu and Boudhnath,
Hindu temples of Pashupatinath, Changu Narayan
etc. As you travel along the exotic locales of
Kathmandu, more diversified cultural settings in
the valley welcome you with warmth and
hospitality. At Swayambhunath temple, you will
gain an invaluable insight into Buddhism. This
may make you feel like you have just been to
spiritual journey.
At midday, we stop for lunch and then head
towards Patan. As you explore Patan Durbar
Square, Mahaboudha Temple, Kumbeshwor temple,
Krishna Temple, Golden Temple and many other
places of Patan, you feel as if Patan has been
unveiled before you as an open museum showcasing
intricately carved windows, intrinsic roof
struts, statues of gods and goddesses, temples
designed in pagoda style with erotic carvings
and repoussé metalwork facades and many other
exquisite facets. You will also get to see
handicraft centre in Patan. After concluding
your trip you will be chauffeured back to the
relaxed ambience of your hotel.
Day 3 Hald-day sightseeing

After breakfast we take you to Bhaktapur
where you will witness unique culture and finest
display of craftsmanship. Bhaktapur is the only
place in Nepal which has remained untouched by
western culture. Lion Gate, Golden Gate, Art
Gallery, Statue of King Bhupatindra, Nyatapola
Temple and fifty-five windowed Malla palace are
the living prides of Bhaktapur and you will tour
around all these places. Tour concludes after
your driver and guide escort you back to hotel.
Afternoon is free for independent activities
such as souvenir hunting, exploring the town on
your own or simply relaxing at hotel.
Day 4 Depart KATHMANDU
Our drive and airport representative drive you
to the airport in time for your flight back
home. We ensure that that you leave Kathmandu
with cherishing memory and an experience of a
lifetime. |
