(4-5), Nepal’s second long river offering for expedition rafting easily ranks among the top rivers in the world. With a put-in-only three hours from Kathmandu, it is more easily accessible nevertheless offering an incredible stretch of exhilarating white water. Day 01

Three hour's bus drives to Dolalghat and prepares for rafting. Camp at sandy beach.

Day 02

Run class 3 rapids and camp nearby Ratemate.

Day 03

Rafting about 4 hours with class 3 rapids and camp nearby Harkapur

Day 04

Rafting about 4 ˝ hours with class 4/5 rapids and camp nearby Harkapur

Day 05

Rafting around 4 hours with class 4 rapids and camp near Rasuaghat

Day 06

Rafting on whitewater class 4 rapids and camp on sandy beach

Day 07

Raft about 4 hours through "Bigdipper" and camp below rapid

Day 08

Rafting about 2 hours till Chatara. After lunch drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 09

Arrive Kathmandu.

Summary : One of the best rafting trips in the world. Big rapids, warm water, no roads or towns, beautiful scenery and great camping make this a classic multi-day river trip – an excellent trip for intermediate and advance kayakers

Tamur
The river forms from the draw of the world’s 3rd highest peak, Kanchanjunga, and descends through the south-west direction of the river. Tamur is highly recommended for an exhilarating, active white water rafting squad and kayak trips. The white water section of 120km distance consists of more than 130 rapids, and this river has been discovered as one of the most magnificent white water trip in the world.

Rafting concludes at Chatara after lunch drive back to Kathmandu by bus
